I am… Poppy Adams and I am the Programme Administrator, supporting the Client Partners with anything they need. I joined the organisation on a temporary contract to provide admin support for the 30% Club cross-company mentoring programme, however I enjoyed my time at Women Ahead and Moving Ahead so much that I was thrilled when given the opportunity to stay on permanently.

I studied… Fashion Design at Nottingham Trent University which I absolutely loved however subsequently decided working in the Fashion world wasn't for me. I’ve been lucky enough to find my feet in a company whose values align with mine and have gained invaluable experience and confidence. The team at Women Ahead and Moving Ahead are very supportive of my professional and personal development.

I love… getting out into the world. I've been lucky enough to visit some amazing places such as Kenya, Hawaii, Thailand, Singapore, North America and all over Europe and I bring this curiosity with me to the office. I love being able to work on a variety of diverse programmes with various clients both external and internal, helping to broaden my knowledge of inclusion and diversity. Seeing all the hard work coming together through the many events we hold is one of my favourite aspects of my job. It is a joy to see first-hand how important and impactful the programmes can be, and I always leave them feeling inspired and motivated.

I bring… a lot of positivity, creativity and colourful outfits! I have a can-do attitude and am very willing to get my hands stuck into any part of the business that requires my support, adding my creative touch!

Women Ahead and Moving Ahead… gives me the opportunity to explore different areas of the diversity, inclusivity and wellbeing world. Everyone here has a genuine passion for what we are trying to achieve, and I'm inspired by our team of strong, inspiring women (and men) every day.
