I am... Lis Merrick, Research and Mentoring Partner (Advisory Board)

I’ve been… designing, developing, supporting and running mentoring schemes for the last 15 years and have worked on over 70 programmes now, many of them for women.  I lecture on mentoring and coaching at Sheffield Business School, write and speak in this field and am involved with a number of organisations and programmes in this arena.

Women Ahead… I am passionately interested in mentoring and coaching women.  I have researched and published on mentoring women through the glass ceiling and am currently writing a book about “Coaching Women at Work”.

I bring... Enormous practical experience of women’s mentoring and coaching to the Advisory Board, which will allow me to support the team at Women Ahead with their strategic thinking and direction. Plus I am so looking forward to supporting them with creating new models and frameworks for mentoring in the fields of sport and business!
