Natasha BakeR
Double Paralympic and european equestrian gold medallist

Natasha Baker MBE is a British para-equestrian who won two gold medals at the 2012 Paralympics. She is also a five-time European para-dressage champion and Paralympic record-holder.

At the age of 14 months Natasha contracted transverse myelitis, an inflammation in her spine that affected her nerve endings. She was left with weakness and no feeling in her legs. While watching the 2000 Summer Paralympics, at the age of ten, she decided she wanted to compete in the Paralympics.

Since winning two gold medals at London 2012, Natasha has gone on to claim triple gold at the 2013 European Championships and team gold and individual silver at last year’s World Equestrian Games.

Natasha has an inspiring story of overcoming adversity that will uplift and empower audiences to embrace perceived limitations and strive for excellence.
